Course description

The course is designed for individuals who are familiar with their camera and basic exposure control but wish to learn studio photography. Previous experience in studio photography is therefore not necessary. After completing the course, Kameraseura members can rent the studio and travel set.

The course covers studio terminology and teaches practical light control as well as portrait photography setups. Participants will have plenty of opportunity to shoot and act as models for one another. The course is also suitable for those wanting to do home studio photography.

Bring your camera equipped with a hot shoe. A practical focal length for the lens is 35–105 mm. Please, also bring comfortable indoor shoes, slippers, or wool socks, as the studio floor may be cool.

The course will be held in English, but Finnish can be used as a secondary language.
