HECC August Meetup – Mountain Biking Photography Class

Join us for a high-energy outdoor photography session focusing on mountain biking! This month we’ll dive into the world of action sports photography, where we’ll be working with two experienced riders to learn how to shoot fast-moving subjects in a natural environment.

We will meet at Meilahden pesäpallokenttä (Meilahti Finnish Baseball Field) and walk to the near by location.
We’ll cover they following:
✅ How to work with athletes
✅ Safety tips for outdoor/action photography
✅ Techniques like panning shots, lifestyle/documentary-style images, and creative compositions
✅ How to balance rider, action, and environment in a single frame

📷 Recommended gear:
 Bring a wide-angle lens for environmental shots and a 70-200mm for action and compression.
